2025 Hispanic and Latin-X Medical Physics Trainee Travel Award

The AAPM Hispanic and Latin-X Medical Physics Trainee Travel Award was created to assist the Hispanic/Latinx community, an under-represented population in the field. The award covers expenses related to either the ASTRO or AAPM Annual Meeting attendance (travel, lodging, registration). Up to $1,000 reimbursement will be offered to (2) recipients.

Award Criteria:
Applicants must submit a personal statement expressing their Latino/-x and Hispanic outreach/mentorship experience along with their CV describing research-, education-, or service-based motivation to attend the proposed meeting along with a letter of support from their program mentor or supervisor. 

Eligibility:

1. Must be a member of AAPM in good standing at the time of application. Pending membership status is not acceptable. If you are not yet an AAPM member, consider applying now to be eligible for the fellowship.

2. Active enrollment in a graduate program in medical physics, certificate program in medical physics, or medical physics residency.

3. Prior recipients not eligible.
