2026-27 Global Research Mentorship Program (GREMP) fellowships: International Mentor Application

- Are you mentoring a graduate-level researcher who is early in their training?
- Are you interested in receiving guidance from an experienced research mentor to help advance your research and mentorship skills and build long-term relationships?
What GREMP offers:
GREMP strives to elevate global medical physics research and mentorship through structured international collaborations. The program connects mentor-mentee pairs affiliated with the AAPM with mentor-mentee pairs working in LMICs. Together, the members of this Mentorship Quad embark on a collaborative research project while developing their scientific and mentorship skills through an international exchange of ideas and experiences.
GREMP Timeline:
Financial Support Includes:
- $3,000 for each mentor to visit their collaborator’s institution.
- $4,000 for mentees in LMICs to attend the AAPM Annual Meeting.
Do you do research in any of these areas?
- Global health research in emerging medical physics fields such as radiopharmaceutical therapies and expanding beyond radiology and radiation oncology.
- Global health research in computational physics integrating AI/ML/DT technologies
- are specifically encouraged.

Application Requirements:
► 5-page questionnaire and the following:
- A PDF version of your Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- A PDF file containing a personal statement expressing your interest in the GREMP program as an international mentor.
- If you have a tentative list of PhD students' names, you will be asked to include the names and the year(s) of the PhD program for each.
► Applications must be finalized and submitted by January 22, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)
